St. John’s in the Wilderness Episcopal Church is located among the pine trees on a bluff on the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe near Glenbrook, Nevada. St. John's and the Galilee Episcopal Camp and Conference Center share in the stewardship of the inspiring and peaceful site. Traveling west, St. John's is off of US Highway 50, across from Glenbrook Post Office - look for the green highway sign saying 'Galilee' with an arrow pointing the way. St. John's is about forty miles southwest of Reno where the Reno-Tahoe International airport is located. Traveling east, St. John's is ten miles north of South Lake Tahoe, California and 8 miles from Nevada-California stateline.
